Senior Consultant
Managed Healthcare Information Systems Consulting
Outlook Associates, a national health care consulting
firm specializing in health care operations and information
systems, seeks a Senior Consultant with a solid background
in managed care systems and operations with extensive
experience in claims/encounter processing (including
Medicare/Medicaid). Our ideal candidate will have 5-10
years experience in managed healthcare operations/systems,
3-5 years in healthcare consulting, superb project management
skills, and the ability to travel extensively.
Primary responsibilities include evaluating claims
processing workflows, leading redesign efforts in claims
adjudication processes and identifying key areas of
improvement; managing claims operations and related
IS issues from start to finish, including support staff
and client management; and remaining current on trends
and new developments within the field as they relate
to managed care and information technology management.
Additional experience/knowledge in other healthcare
management settings is desirable to allow flexibility
in consulting assignments. Successful candidate will
possess an ability to work and think independently,
creatively, with innovation, and possess excellent written
and communication skills.
